Hi, my name is Will Welbourn and I am the PADI Course Director at Coconut Tree Divers on the beautiful Caribbean island of Roatan, Honduras.

When someone asks you about your job, does your face light up with enthusiasm? Do you love telling people about what you do on a daily basis, and more importantly are people interested in hearing it?

As a PADI pro the answer is invariably "Yes!" Changing my job from the world on accountancy in London’s investment banks to teaching people to dive was the best move I ever made. Even after many years in the scuba diving industry, I still catch myself drifting along Roatan’s beautiful coral encrusted walls finding it hard to believe that this is now my office!

If you are thinking of becoming a dive professional then you are currently facing some important decisions. For many, it is the first step into a new career, and no less important a decision than what college to go to or what degree you should major in. For others, it represents a career break, but even then how and where you spend your hard-earned vacation involves some tough choices.
